Tap Attack dancer appears on new ITV show

World champion tap dancer, Sophie Wathen will feature on ITV’s new celebrity talent completion, Born To Shine, when it debuts this Sunday evening.

Hosted by Natasha Kaplinksy, the show will see celebrities facing an exciting challenge as they attempt to learn a brand new skill – mentored by a host of extraordinary children who have exceptional talents.

Sophie, who has been a member of the Tap Attack Youth Company and Tap Attack England Team for the past three years, is mentoring celebrity couple Angellica Bell and Michael Underwood as the perform their tap dance routine against Lock Stock actor Nick Moran who will give his debut performance on the piano.

Born to Shine sees ITV join forces with Save the Children as each week our celebrities’ performances will help raise money for the charity as they attempt to win a place in the grand final.

Under the watchful eye of their young mentors, the celebrities will be hoping they can hold their nerve as they perform to impress both the public and a judging panel, headed by Denise Van Outen and Jason Gardiner, who will be joined by a surprise celebrity judge each week.

You can support Sophie and her celebrities, this Sunday on ITV at 8pm.
