In this Sunday's episode of hit show Got To Dance, 21-year-old Zoe Pembroke, who is currently studyi
ng musical theatre in London, takes to the stage with the hope of realising her dream of performing in the live finals at the ExCel Centre in London and a share of the £250,000 grand prize.
The former Caistor Grammar pupil, is part of a 24 strong tap dance group called Tap Attack, who have also just returned from the World Tap Championships in Germany, where they ranked second in the world.
In its second series, Got To Dance invites young dancers to take to the stage to prove that they are the best new dance act in Britain.
The show is judged by actor and tap dancer Adam Garcia, The Pussycat Dolls' Kimberly Wyatt and Britain's Got Talent winner Ashley Banjo, of dance act Diversity.
The programme is fronted by former Big Brother presenter Davina McCall.
On the prerecorded show, which is broadcast at 6pm on Sky One and Sky One HD, the group wows the audience and judges alike who award them three gold stars – which automatically puts them on the shortlist to make the next round.
Viewers will watch the group as they anxiously wait as the judges decide whether or not they make it through to the live semi-finals which start on January 30.
Although Zoe cannot reveal if the group makes it through, she says all will be revealed on Sunday's show.
In the meantime, she is trying to drum up as much support as possible.
She said: "It's quite surreal to think that we are all going to be on TV but we're all getting excited about seeing it.
"Being on the show was an amazing experience and I am sure that will come through on Sunday.
"I was the spokesperson for the group so I am just panicking in case I said something stupid!" she joked.
"It would be amazing if we got through and would mean that we would be through to the live semis.
"We would then be relying on the public votes to progress further so it would be fantastic if Grimsby and Cleethorpes could support us.
"We like to think that we bring something a bit different to tap – our routines are new and fresh.
"Hopefully it will set us apart from the rest and people will really like it."
To see if Tap Attack make it through to the live semi-finals, tune in to Got to Dance tomorrow from 6pm on Sky1 and Sky1 HD.
